While building, I find that the small, tin handled acid brushes work great. The bristles are stiff enough to "stipple" the epoxy through the glass cloth, and they are small enough to handle the little detail work on an r/c model. Also, when purchased in bulk, they are easy to throw away after use - no need to spend time cleaning them out.
If you try to buy them at local lumber centers, (plumbing section) they can run as high as $1.00 each
