Guys - I've been asked to submit information on the multihull classes for the upcoming Model Yachting Publication.
I have written the editor and asked for guidance. On one hand I want to submit something - but on the other, the lack of builders, boats and interest has me confused and I am not sure I want to promote something only for new owners to become disillusioned with lack of boats, parts, builders, etc.
I guess I may do a small article, but unless you as members are willing to share - there isn't much I can do on my own - and I can't fabricate news or articles.
What I am seeing, is this is the "S*** or get off the pot" time. Either we are going to have a class with active participants, or we drop the class idea and everyone goes back to building what they want, without thought to racing - either on a national or local level. I am depressed that the interest I thought was out there just never materialized.
As an open question to you all - "what are we going to do?" and "where are we going to go?"
