This was posted in more detail on the rcsailing site but may have some interest for potential multiONE sailors that recognize the inherent problems in these small multis. The idea is to "hang" a small ballast keel from a carbon tube protruding from a central pod on a catamaran. The keel would rotate and slide on the carbon tube-sliding to be controlled by the mainsheet or separate servo and "canting" by a guyatt 280(high speed version) This gives a movable ballast system that allows the boat to not only develop a lot of power but to right itself using the radio to center the keel. There would be no "normal" daggeroards ony "wings" on the very thin bulb. Standard dual rudders would be used.The rig would be an unstayed una with a bent back tip modified squarehead with the mast stepped in the boom for simplicity and power. Because of the righting moment and antipitch force of the sliding keel and coupled with Anti Dive planes this might be a great beginners multi.
